About the Beagle
Beagles were bred to hunt hares in packs, which makes them sociable, cheerful and good with other dogs. Their powerful noses and independent streak can make recall training a challenge.
They are generally healthy, tough little dogs, but they will eat almost anything, which makes secure bins and careful food storage essential. A bored Beagle howls, digs and escapes, so plenty of walks with time to sniff are the best investment you can make.
