About the Sphynx
The Sphynx is not truly hairless — most have a fine peach-fuzz — and they are not hypoallergenic, because allergens are in saliva and skin. They are some of the most affectionate, sociable cats you will meet.
Without fur to absorb skin oils, a Sphynx needs a weekly bath and gets cold easily, so warm beds and heated spots are appreciated. Keep them out of strong sun: they can burn.
